This is a gem of a place to stay - excellent food, a fun owner and very convenient to Durham without the hassel of inner city parking, etc. Elizabeth Welsh runs a good, homely B&B and treats all visitors equally. I have used this b&b for 5 years (children at Uni) and she has never let me down. Sadly I have no more Children to put through Uni, so my future with this b&b is limited, but if I come back to Durham, this is where I will stay.

Been here for 10 weeks.  Had a great time.  Liz is smashing.  Nothing is too much trouble all the rooms are lovely, breakfast is superb!
Would recommend it to anyone and will definitely return in the future, might even have a weekend away and bring the wife who would love
